I am thrilled to announce the launch of my new YouTube page, Betsy’s Math Minute! As an experienced math teacher with over 30 years of expertise, I have decided to share my knowledge and insights through this platform to help parents assist their children in mastering math concepts.
Math can often be a challenging subject for students, and I have witnessed firsthand the struggles they face. Through Betsy’s Math Minute, I aim to bridge this gap by offering valuable tips, suggestions, and resources that will enable parents to support their child's mathematical journey effectively.
On this page, you can expect to find short, mainly one-problem videos that cover a wide range of math topics. Whether it's fractions, algebra, geometry, or any other mathematical concept, I will break it down into bite-sized, easily digestible pieces. My goal is to make math accessible, engaging, and enjoyable for both parents and students.
Additionally, I want to create a community where everyone feels comfortable seeking help and sharing their thoughts. You can leave comments on the videos, and I encourage you to do so. If you have a specific problem type or topic you would like me to address, feel free to reach out to me via email at email@example.com. I will do my best to get back to you as soon as possible and create a video to address your query.
What sets Betsy’s Math Minute apart is my extensive experience and the recognition I have received as an educator. I am proud to be an award-winning teacher, having been honored with the Inspirational Teacher of the Year Sanford Award. I have also been nominated twice for the prestigious Presidential Award in Mathematics and was a finalist in the inspirational and innovative teaching of mathematics Rosenthal Award. My contributions to education have also been featured in the book "Women Today Making A Difference."
It is my belief that every child has the potential to excel in math, and with the right guidance, they can overcome their challenges. Through Betsy’s Math Minute, I hope to empower parents with the tools and strategies needed to help their children succeed in this subject.
